| Monthly Zoom Meeting: Can Last Tuesday’s Blue Wave Teach Us Anything about Running in Tennessee? Last week, Democrats won everywhere in what is widely seen as a rebuke of Trump’s overreach, chaos, and harm. And there were wins even in unexpected places. Democrats flipped two seats on Georgia’s statewide Public Service Commission and flipped three seats in the Mississippi State Legislature, breaking the GOP’s supermajority in their state. Democrats flipped a city council seat in Charlotte, NC for the first time in nearly three decades. Is it possible for that blue wave to come to Tennessee? What lessons can we take away from these victories? That is exactly what we’ll be talking about this upcoming Thursday, November 13th at 6:30 CT/7:30 ET for our monthly Blue Tennessee call. And we are absolutely thrilled to be joined by gubernatorial candidate, Jerri Green, for the latter half of our call! Jerri will share insights from her race, what she thinks about last week’s election results, and why it’s critical that Democrats run everywhere – especially when the odds are tough. |
